Where is the Emporium hidden? To preserve the mystery, the exact coordinates of the room remain a guarded secret until the day of your performance. However, for those planning their journey, the sanctuary is nestled just a 15-minute drive north-east of the Adelaide CBD.
On The Path & Parking
Where shall we tether our carriages?
The Emporium is nestled within a quiet residential quarter where street parking is available. Detailed instructions and a map of the surrounding area will be sent to your inbox on the day of your performance.
Is the Emporium accessible to all? While we lack modern ramps and our facilities are of a traditional, standard width (820mm), we strive to be as accommodating as the architecture allows. Please notify the Keeper of the Threshold of any mobility requirements in advance.
On Appearance & Atmosphere
Who orchestrates the wonders inside the space?
Every illusion, story, and shadow witnessed within the sanctuary is curated and performed by Raymond Crowe, The Unusualist. Known globally for his world-class, hand-shadow artistry, physical comedy, and intimate magic, Raymond created The Wonder Emporium specifically to bring people out of the ordinary world and into a highly exclusive, interactive experience.
Is there a specific dress code?
We believe our guests are part of the scenery. To maintain the elegance of the evening, we invite you to dress for the occasion. While comfort is key, an air of sophistication helps bridge the gap between the ordinary world and the wonders within.
On Arrival & The Threshold
When should we arrive at the gates?
The Emporium operates on a delicate clock. To preserve the sanctuary for all, the doors are locked precisely at 8:00 PM. We ask that you arrive 15 minutes early to settle in; once the gates are closed, the performance has begun, and we cannot admit late travellers.
On Libations
Is food or alcohol served within?
To ensure your senses remain sharp for the impossible, we do not serve spirits. However, a complimentary bottle of water awaits you upon your arrival to keep you refreshed.
On Petite Patrons
Are children welcome to witness the magic?
The Wonder Emporium is an experience designed for a mature sensibility. The performance requires a level of quiet focus and a 70-minute attention span. As such, we generally welcome guests aged 12 and above.
On Commitments
What is the policy on refunds?
Because each evening is strictly limited to a Fellowship of Twenty, every seat is vital. Consequently, all invitations are final. Should you be unable to attend, you are welcome to pass your Token of Entry to a friend.
